Maggie, I just love your writing. So beautiful. I love the description of cross stitch. It's something I used to do. Nowadays I often think about the things I want to do but often don't do. That said on my one of my work trips last year I found a little embroidery kit and have since completed that. The plan is to make it into a pocket on a carry bag. I also crochet, and need to finish a granny rug I started 2 winters ago. It's this time of year that makes me want to start doing crafty things.
Hi Maggie, I used to cross-stitch too! I made so many bookmarks; there's a huge pile in my bookshelf waiting to be used.
Now I play the piano - my favourite pieces at the moment are Bohemian Rhapsody and Let It Go (and yes, I do sing along too) :-) xx
